Total Support for Vadel Badjideh, Bintang Reveals Family Sacrifices

Kapanlagi.com - The legal process faced by Vadel Badjideh over allegations of sexual assault against a minor has significantly impacted his family. His sister, Bintang Badjideh, revealed the sacrifices made to focus on supporting her brother.

Bintang, who is also a professional dancer, does not deny that her activities and work have been quite disrupted since this case emerged. However, for her, supporting the family is the top priority.

"It can be said that it's disrupted, yes, but what can we do, we have to face it," said Bintang Badjideh when met at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (13/8/2025).

In fact, she admitted that for the time being, she has to postpone all job offers that come her way. This is done so that she can devote all her time and energy to Vadel.

"We have to hold everything for now," she asserted.

1. It Has Become a Family Principle

Bintang explained that this has become a principle in his family. When one family member faces a problem, the others will stand united to provide full support and temporarily set aside personal matters.

"So we focus first on the problem, that’s how the Badjideh family system works. If there’s an issue with one of the family members, whether it’s Kak Martin, or me, or Vadel, we focus on support. We leave everything else aside for a while," Bintang explained.

He acknowledged that this sacrifice has slightly affected their economic condition. However, the biggest impact he feels is the disruption of his dancing hobby that he has been pursuing with Vadel.

"It does affect a bit, but the most disrupted is my hobby with Vadel dancing. So my hobby is dancing with Vadel, so it might be a little bit disturbed. We understand that," he said.

2. Vadel Is Not Resigned

On the other hand, Martin Badjideh emphasized that Vadel is not resigned to his situation. The 24-year-old man, along with his family, continues to fight and pray for the best outcome.

"It’s not resignation, we are clearly fighting. So, we are fighting and praying, that’s what Vadel and the family are doing," said Martin.

According to Bintang, Vadel is also cooperative in following all the procedures during the trial. "Yes, just following the SOP in the trial, that’s it," concluded Bintang.
