Endiarto stated that his long-term goal is to inspire other filmmakers. He wants the celebration of August 17 not only to be filled with ceremonial events but also with relevant film works.

"Whatever happens, we are the ones triggering it. Starting this year, initiating it, surely next year there will be many parties who have the same thoughts. 'Alright, let's also participate in film,' I mention film because we are indeed creative workers," said Endiarto when met in the Kuningan area, Monday (11/8/2025).

He will feel very successful if his intention is well received by the industry. For him, it would be a beautiful sight if during the 81st anniversary of Indonesian Independence next year, there are several new films released simultaneously.

"There will definitely be, if next year is the 81st year, there will be 3 films, whether animation or real. If there are 5, that would be great, right? Finally, our intention succeeded in providing a sample, to trigger our friends," he explained.

This contribution, according to him, will be more tangible and have a greater impact compared to other celebrations. He wants the film industry to take a more significant role in enlivening the nation's anniversary.

"For contributions, it's not just the National Walking Movement, the Red and White Bazaar, but something more tangible, bigger in the film industry," he said.

2. Invite Other Creators

This hope is also conveyed to the creators, including netizens who have remade his work. He encourages them to prepare original works for next year, so that the public has more viewing options.

"If they feel capable of doing better, contribute to the proclamation next year. Because now it’s already too late. Next year, let’s present the same form, together," he urged.

Endiarto is fully aware that his film may be far from perfect, but he believes this is the necessary first step. He hopes that next year there will be many collaborations that can produce even better contributions for Indonesia.

"Hopefully next year there will be many collaborations. We can make a good contribution for our 81 years of independence, next year," he concluded.
