Fandy Christian Attempts to Preserve the Marriage, Dahlia Poland Remains Firm on Divorce

Kapanlagi.com - Amid the divorce process, it has been revealed that Fandy Christian made significant efforts to maintain his marriage with Dahlia Poland. Dahlia's attorney, Wayan Vajra Fhany Jaya, disclosed that Fandy attempted to approach his client several times even after they separated.

However, these efforts seem to have failed to soften Dahlia's heart, who is resolute in her decision. Wayan recounted that he and his colleague witnessed Fandy's attempts to reconnect with Dahlia. According to him, these efforts were sometimes made in a rather forceful manner.

"Since the separation from Mas Fandy, there have been several incidents that I myself witnessed along with my colleague, that several times Mas Fandy tried to approach in a more... well, forcing way to get back together," Wayan revealed in a virtual press conference on Tuesday (12/8/2025).

1. Dahlia Kukuh Bercerai

Fandy is said to have continuously tried to meet and communicate, even though at that time Dahlia had stated that she needed space for herself. Fandy's desire not to separate is considered a human sentiment by the lawyer.

"Meeting, all sorts of things, even though Mrs. Dahlia had said that she just needed space, just needed room for herself. Because Mr. Fandy, perhaps, yes, as a human, he is a man who does not want to separate from his wife, he still insists," he explained.

Fandy's persistent efforts made Dahlia feel overwhelmed and more consistent with her decision to file a lawsuit. This became one of the final triggers for Dahlia to continue the legal process.

"In the end, Mrs. Dahlia felt unable, ultimately consistent in filing the lawsuit, like that," said Wayan.

2. No Reconciliation

Although there were attempts at reconciliation from Fandy's side, Wayan explained that for Dahlia, that opportunity has passed. This decision was made after long consideration and various failed peace efforts in the past.

"In fact, we helped before, facilitating communication between Mas Fandy and Bu Dahlia, because frankly, we only hope for the best for both parties," he explained.

In the end, as legal counsel, Wayan and his team must follow their client's wishes. Dahlia's firm decision to separate became a mandate that they must carry out.

"But we are here once again as Ms. Dahlia's legal representatives, when Ms. Dahlia does not want that (reconciliation), then we follow Dahlia," he concluded.
