Kasatreskim Reveals the Chronology of the Arrest and Punishment of the Perpetrator who Threatened Syifa Hadju

This artist was hesitant to report at first, but eventually she gathered the courage to do so. The report is currently being processed by Kasatreskrim Tangerang Selatan, Akp Muharram Wibisono.

The Kasatreskrim then began to recount the initial chronology of the suspect's arrest. At that time, he met with the press conference with Syifa Hadju at the South Tangerang Police Station on Monday (2/3).

1. Chronology of Arrest

This case began when Syifa Hadju received a DM on Instagram. The DM contained threatening and offensive words. Although the suspect has deleted his account, the police managed to arrest him near his home area.

"After investigating this suspect, it was found that he has a photocopy business near his home in Karanganyar," said the South Tangerang Crime Investigation Unit Chief, Akp Muharram Wibisono.

He added, "When he was arrested, he was still inside the house and we found him cooperative. Initially, he denied it, but after further interrogation, he finally admitted to the act."

2. Revealing the Suspect's Motive

Until now, the perpetrator has been successfully arrested and has become a suspect. It turns out that the perpetrator is currently 25 years old. In his statement, the perpetrator had education up to high school but did not graduate.

When asked about the suspect's motive, Akp Muharram Wibisono answered, "So based on our investigation, this suspect is one of the fans of Syifa Hadju. He did this because he repeatedly sent messages. But because he didn't get a response, the suspect got emotional and made threats using offensive words."

"We charge him under Article 27 of the ITE Law, Article 29 in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph 1, and Article 45 with a maximum prison sentence of 6 years and a fine of 1 billion rupiah," he added.
