Kiki Farrel admits to feeling bored due to frequently acting. He has his own way of dealing with this issue.
"If I've been in a program for a long time, I take a break first, like doing FTV. After FTV, I continue until I get a bit bored, then I switch," he said when met at the Pagi-pagi Ambyar Trans TV Studio on Thursday (24/4/2025).
Kiki does not see the emergence of young actors as a threat, but rather as part of the natural cycle in the entertainment world.
He realizes that the roles he plays will change as he ages, from teenage roles to adult and family roles, so the regeneration of young actors is not a direct competition for him.
"Because that is the law of nature. When I was in my teens, my roles were high school, teenage. Until my 30s, I was still trusted, now I have adult roles, household roles, it's impossible for me to play a high school role again. So it's not competition," he said.
He runs a retail business selling accessories such as rings, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces in several large malls in Jakarta, such as Gandaria City and Kuningan City. Â "I have retail, I happen to be in several malls in Jakarta. The malls are quite big, there are Gandaria City, Kuningan City, big malls. I sell accessories for women and men, like silver rings, women's earrings, leather bracelets, gold-plated necklaces," he explained.
In addition, he also invests in real estate by renting out the apartments and houses he owns. Â "I have property, an apartment in Mega Kuningan for rent, and a house also for rent. I've been saving for 20 years while I was shooting," he said.
