The guitarist of the metal band Seringai, Ricky Siahaan, has finally arrived in the homeland after passing away in Japan on April 19, 2025. Ricky's remains arrived at the Sentosa Funeral Home, RSPAD Gatot Subroto, Central Jakarta on Thursday night, April 24, 2025.

At around 21:11 WIB, the plain white coffin carrying Ricky's remains was carried to Room G for his wake. At that moment, the atmosphere became silent, only the sound of sobs could be heard among the mourners.

Ricky's wife and daughter accompanied the final steps of the musician towards the funeral room. Their presence illustrated the deep sorrow over the departure of their beloved husband and father.

The mourners present gave way and stood in silence as a form of respect. They formed a line along the aisle leading to room G, making space for the coffin to pass between them.

Several musicians who were friends and colleagues of Ricky during his time in the music industry were also present. Cholil Mahmud, Akbar Bagus Sudibyo, and Doddy Hamson paid their last respects to the guitarist.

In addition to the musicians, close friends were also seen coming to bid farewell to Ricky. Names like Soleh Solihun and Wendy Putranto were caught up in the atmosphere of mourning that night.

Ricky's bandmate in Seringai, Edy Khemod, appeared to be deeply affected as he stood gazing at the coffin carrying his friend. A vacant stare and a sad expression were clearly visible on his face.

Ricky Siahaan passed away in Japan due to a sudden heart attack. The procedure for repatriating the body from Japan took time because it had to go through a series of medical and administrative checks.

After being laid to rest in Jakarta, Ricky's body will be buried in San Diego Hills, Karawang, West Java on Saturday (26/4/2025). This location was chosen as his final resting place by the family.
