Now, the deceased's body has been buried at Sandiego Hills cemetery in Karawang, West Java, on Saturday (2/12). When asked after the funeral procession, Christopher Herboldt, the late actress's husband, confirmed that his wife intentionally disappeared since October.
He also revealed the condition of Kiki Fatmala from October until her last breath in early December.

Christopher said that the cancer that his wife suffered from had already spread to her brain. Therefore, for approximately two months before she passed away, Kiki Fatmala had to stay at home and rest.
"Her condition two months before she passed away, the cancer had already reached her brain. So she couldn't leave the room," said Christopher Herboldt when interviewed by KapanLagi.

Because his wife wanted to focus on resting and recovering her condition, Christopher explained that Kiki also intentionally withdrew from the outside world and social media. He also mentioned that during that time, his wife truly rested at home while listening to gospel songs.
"So she didn't read WhatsApp, didn't answer phone calls at all. Just at home, listening to gospel songs every day," he said.
"Resting at home because from the beginning she didn't want to be taken to the hospital," he added.
In addition to wanting to focus on resting, Christopher said that Kiki Fatmala's decision to only be treated at home was her own decision and she always wanted to be close to her family.
The family respects Kiki's decision to stay at home. However, the family has made many efforts for Kiki's recovery. Among them is seeking treatment abroad.
"Because she wants to be close to her family. We have tried our best, tried going to America, Singapore, and even Bangkok to help Kiki. In the end, we decided to treat her at home. That was Kiki's decision," he concluded.
