Unpleasant news comes from artist Kirana Larasati. Through an Instagram Story post on Wednesday night (5/7/2025), she was seen in the SPKT room of the South Jakarta Metro Police. Her presence is not without reason, Kirana officially reported the alleged fraud that befell her.

The alleged case reported by Kirana Larasati points to fraud or deceitful acts that have caused her material loss. "This is an allegation of fraud or deceitful acts," explained Commissioner Murodih.

The chronology of the incident began when Kirana intended to register the IMEI of her iPhone with Customs. She sought information through Google, then communicated with someone via WhatsApp.

"It started when the victim wanted to register the IMEI of her iPhone with Customs. The victim initially searched through Google and communicated with a number she got through WhatsApp," he explained.

"The victim was directed to make a registration payment through QRIS," he stated. However, after the second transaction, Kirana's balance was deducted again. At that moment, she felt something was off and decided not to respond to messages from that number.

"It was only discovered afterward that the victim's balance was deducted again. At that point, the victim was already suspicious and decided to ignore the chat from the perpetrator," explained Kompol Murodih. /aal
