Kirana Larasati Wants to Break a Record Again Even Though She Feels Like a 'Baby' in the Diving World

Kirana Larasati is a celebrity who is currently diving. Although she has already broken the MURI record at a depth of 127.8 meters, Kirana Larasati does not want to be complacent. The actress, born in 1987, feels that her current achievements are still far behind those of female technical divers at the international level.

Let's check out Kirana's next target as she shared with KapanLagi.com!

Kirana admits that she still has a lot to learn to match the achievements of divers from other countries. She also expressed her ambition to surpass the numbers she has achieved currently in the future.

"I want (to break the record again). Honestly, if we talk outside of Indonesia, oh my, I am still a baby. 127.8 meters is nothing outside of Indonesia," said Kirana Larasati when met by KapanLagi in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Friday (6/3/2026).

There are many people... sorry, not many, but there are some people who have reached 240 meters, 300 meters, or even my female friend in another country in China who has reached 150 meters,"

For Kirana, the number 127.8 meters is just a starting point. She is determined to continue training and improve her skills to compete further on a global level.

"So I know that what I am doing now is a stepping stone to the next level. I don't want to be overly proud or arrogant, but it's okay to be a little proud sometimes in Indonesia," she joked with a laugh.

However, Kirana realizes that to dive deeper, very careful preparation is needed, both in terms of time, physical condition, and managing her other work schedule.

"So perhaps in the future I want to do it but not in the near future because I still have other work that needs to be done. Of course, this takes time, requires energy, and needs very good schedule management," concluded Kirana.
