Kiwil and Rohimah Agree to Divorce, Just Waiting for the Court's Decision

Kapanlagi.com - The divorce trial of Kiwil and Rohimah was held again at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (3/1). Both Kiwil and Rohimah were present at the trial. They have also agreed to separate.

"Actually, it's already official (divorced)," said Kiwil after the trial.

Rohimah's divorce lawsuit against Kiwil has been granted by the Panel of Judges. Now, they just have to wait for the gavel on February 10th because there are some documents that Kiwil needs to complete.

"Only for the gavel, it will be on the 10th (February)," said Rohimah.

"Because the Judge asked for a written statement from me, 4 copies, and documentation," added Kiwil.

Although they have now separated, both of them appear calm and harmonious. Rohimah hopes that after this divorce, each of them will have a better life.

"Yes, I am calm. Before I go through this process, I introspect myself, maybe the fault lies with me. Maybe there are shortcomings in me that Bang Kiwil has. I don't want to blame all the mistakes on him. Maybe as a companion, a wife for 22 years, there are many things that he is not comfortable with, we don't know," Rohimah said.

"So before I went on a two-week trip, I tried to pray istikharah, tahajud prayer, I reflected with Allah. With calmness, God willing, everything will be fine. I only ask for the best prayers. Hopefully, after I divorce from Bang Kiwil, we will have a better life," she concluded.
