"On top of that, I had to get a divorce, I have one child. And I couldn't support my child because I didn't have a job. At that time financially, I was thrown and rolled over, I was nobody," he added.

This situation caused Ken Ken's name, which once reached the peak of his career as an actor, to disappear in an instant. Herning Sukendro is known to have disappeared from the entertainment world for 18 years. However, during that hiatus, he found a new path that led him to a significant change in his life.

"But I met a woman who supported me. I struggled, and back to nature. Returning to nature, there I saw it like a new world. From a young age as an entertainer, returning to nature felt like going back to a world I didn't understand," he revealed.

Herning Sukendro chose to shift his career from the glamorous entertainment world to becoming a farmer. Although he had no skills in agriculture, Ken Ken learned the field from scratch. He attended several training sessions and joined a farmers' community.

He studied the techniques and strategies needed for farming. Living life as a farmer, Herning Sukendro experienced significant changes and lived simply. Currently, this actor born in 1957 is known to be farming crops such as corn, peanuts, and secondary crops. 

He was also active on social media. He marketed several products and brands with a paid promotion concept. Recently, he was seen becoming a brand ambassador (BA) for a digital marketing consulting firm.

Living happily with his children and wife, and with his life starting to stabilize, Herning Sukendro faced another challenge. Recently, he learned that he is suffering from diabetes. This situation has made the actor start to maintain a healthier lifestyle and diet.
