When asked about the idea behind this unique souvenir, Luna Maya humorously shared her story. The idea started from a casual remark that unexpectedly was taken seriously by the sponsors.
"Is the souvenir just coffee? What about the machine?" said Luna Maya, mimicking her remark at that time when she was met in the Gatot Subroto area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (30/7/2025).
Initially just a joke, that request was actually granted. Luna and Maxime admitted they were somewhat "fainted" when they found out that the idea would indeed be realized. They even considered how cumbersome it would be for the guests to take home the 3-kilogram souvenir.
"Yes, we fainted right away. Poor the ones packing and poor the guests who carried it, that's 3 kilos on its own," she said while laughing.
Maxime Bouttier, the husband, also expressed his gratitude to the entire team who worked hard to realize all the details of their wedding, including this amazing souvenir. "That's why I really thanked our team earlier," added Maxime.
