Legal Counsel Ustaz Yusuf Mansur Provides a Rebuttal Regarding His Client's Rp 5 Billion Loss

Kapanlagi.com - Ustaz Yusuf Mansur is being sued for Rp 5 billion by five individuals claiming to be his investors. Ariel Muchtar, as the legal counsel for Ustaz Yusuf Mansur, stated that the actual loss is not as much as reported.

"Regarding the 5 billion, I explain that the loss is not that much. The Rp 5 billion is the total amount of intangible losses they are demanding. If their losses are from five individuals, it is not even 100 million, the Rp 5 billion is intangible loss," said Ariel Muchtar when contacted on Thursday (4/6).

1. Must Be Straightened

Ariel Muchtar also said that Ustaz Yusuf Mansur gave the plaintiff an opportunity to provide evidence of the mentioned losses in the trial. According to him, the claim of 5 billion is untrue and therefore must be straightened.

"Later, when it enters the trial of evidence, please. If we follow the ethics of the trial, why don't we provide information because the ethics are like that, the content of the mediation cannot be conveyed. But after reading the news and the content is like that, we feel the need to straighten it," he said.

2. Sued in Civil Law

It is known that Ustaz Yusuf Mansur is sued in civil law by 5 investors who feel disadvantaged. The plaintiffs include Fajar Haidar Rafly, Sumiyati, Sri Hartati, Sri Wahyuni, and Isnarijah Purnami at the Tangerang District Court.

Previously, in the mediation hearing on Wednesday (3/6) at the Tangerang District Court, Ustaz Yusuf Mansur requested evidence showing that the five plaintiffs are investors in the ustaz's company. However, the plaintiffs refused to provide evidence because they felt it had not entered the proof agenda.
