Legal Process Enters a New Phase, Barbie Kumalasari Defends Vicky Prasetyo against Angel Lelga

This means that he can resume activities outside of prison, but still under the supervision of the court and the police. As is known, the vocalist of Kudeta Band was detained for a defamation case reported by his ex-wife, Angel Lelga.

After being released, Vicky apparently immediately continued the legal process of his dispute with Angel. This time, he received support from his friend, Barbie Kumalasari, who is also a lawyer, to oversee this case to completion.

"As a wife, even though we are divorced, it is not appropriate to expose the faults of a husband or ex-husband through the Information and Electronic Transactions Law (ITE), especially when there are many facts that Angel herself knowingly accused Vicky of lying, committing sins, deceiving, and embezzling party funds. So in my opinion, it is a disgrace that should not be told through electronic media and it is not appropriate for a public figure to vent through electronic media," said Barbie when met in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (24/9).

1. Barbie Kumalasari Speaks Up for Vicky Prasetyo

Barbie helps Vicky because she considers him as her own family. Moreover, she also feels that she has strong evidence to report back against Angel Lelga for what she has done to Vicky.

"Being a lawyer is indeed his duty to accompany any client. Both of us are also Vicky's friends who know exactly from before he got married until he separated, I also know. So as a friend because I am also a legal person, we also help, not only based on the client, but our bond as a family. Moreover, there are many facts that make us feel that this is enough evidence to be processed," Barbie added.

2. Vicky Prasetyo Hands Over the Case to Legal Counsel

Vicky himself wants to resolve his issues with Angel Lelga. Not out of revenge, but he feels he has the legal right to seek justice. Moreover, this case is also supported by his legal counsel.

"What I feel and what I do all depend on the legal counsel to carry it out. This is a transition where I was still in prison making efforts and struggles. Let everything proceed according to procedure, personally I have already conveyed nothing. This happened before I was released, and now that I am free, I continue their legal process, as it has been ongoing as long as I was in Salemba Detention Center," Vicky concluded.
