Like Reading a Fairy Tale, Denada Tells her Beloved Daughter about Jerry Aurum's Condition

Kapanlagi.com - It is not easy for singer Denada to explain the condition of her ex-husband, Jerry Aurum, who is currently in prison to their daughter, Aisha. Before telling Aisha about her father's condition, Denada consulted with her friend.

"She (Aisha) knew a while ago, not long ago I told her about her father's situation. Although my story was from a long time ago, in the beginning, I lied to her, but then I consulted with my friend, talked," said Denada at the PO studio, South Jakarta, Friday (7/1/2021).

1. Don't Want the Child to be Sad

"So I told my story, I asked how I could talk to Aisha because I was afraid she would feel down. Finally, I was told, it took two weeks to tell her slowly, I told her slowly," added Denada.

Not wanting Aisha to be sad knowing her father's condition, Denada has her own way of telling her daughter about her ex-husband. Denada tells her about Jerry's condition like reading a fairy tale.

2. Want the Child to Still Respect Her Father

"At first, it was from a fairy tale, I regularly tell her (Aisha) fairy tales. At first, I told her, eventually she really knew her father's condition," said Denada.

Denada has her own reasons why she has to tell her beloved daughter about her ex-husband's condition. As a mother, Denada wants Aisha to still respect Jerry Aurum and forgive everything that her father has done.

3. Responsibility

"But I always tell Oma, from her father's family, not to worry, I promise this is my responsibility, God willing, I will continue to ensure that Aisah loves and respects her father. Whatever happens," said Denada.

"Thank God, it went smoothly, quite well, even though she was surprised. But thank God it didn't reach the reaction we didn't want. Because, as I said, it's a process," Denada concluded.

4. Undergoing Treatment

It is known that Aisha is also fighting to recover from the blood cancer she has been suffering from since 2018.

Currently, Aisah is undergoing treatment to completely get rid of the disease, also known as leukemia.
