Singer Lyodra has been chosen to sing the soundtrack song for the latest Disney animated film, MOANA 2. The song is titled Jauh Di Sana, which is the Indonesian version of the song Beyond sung by Auli'i Cravalho in the original film. Check out the full story below!
In her interview, Lyodra revealed that singing this song is a realization of a dream for her.
She feels honored to contribute to a big project like Moana 2 and hopes this song can touch many hearts.
"I have wanted to be part of a Disney soundtrack for a long time. And finally, I got it, in Moana 2. I'm so happy," said Lyodra as quoted by Kompas.com, on Monday (25/11/2024).
"I remember very well, my label called me and said, 'Do you want to contribute to the Disney soundtrack, Moana?' Then I was like... 'Moana? There's a second Moana?' Because I watched it and followed it closely, right?" she explained.
The song Jauh Di Sana has been available on various digital streaming platforms since November 22, 2024, ahead of the film's release scheduled for December 20, 2024.
Rachel Fong, Studio General Manager and Integrated Marketing Director of The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia, stated that the collaboration with Lyodra is expected to enhance fans' understanding of the song's themes and meanings.
