Raline Shah recently revealed her interesting experience auditioning for the film Crazy Rich Asians. In a YouTube interview with Denny Sumargo, Raline stated that the audition was the largest she had ever participated in.

"I didn't get the role. Actually, the biggest audition I ever did, where I almost got the role, was Crazy Rich Asians," explained Raline Shah on Denny Sumargo's YouTube channel.

Raline then revealed the fact about what role she would play if she successfully joined the film.

"I would be the girl who wants to get married. Not the main role, (but) the girl who picks him up at the airport," said the 39-year-old actress.

Unfortunately, Raline did not get the role because her shooting schedule clashed with another project in Malaysia, which is the film Police Evo.

Although she failed the audition, Raline was still invited to attend the premiere of the film Crazy Rich Asians thanks to her closeness with the producer and her manager, who also manages actress Michelle Yeoh.
