Age is not a barrier for anyone to pursue education, and this is what Sarwendah is doing. Amid her busy life as a mother of three and working in the entertainment industry, she chooses to continue her bachelor's degree. In an interview, Sarwendah revealed that although they are attending the same college, they are in different majors and classes; Betrand is following the regular program, while Sarwendah chose the hybrid system to fit her schedule.
"Coincidentally, I am in the same class as Onyo but in different majors, so it turns out we are in different classes, he is regular and I am hybrid," said Sarwendah as reported by Insertlive, on Sunday (24/11).
Initially, Sarwendah planned to take a major in Mandarin Language with the goal of becoming a lecturer. However, after discussing with the campus, she found a new interest in the field of psychology.
"At first, I actually wanted to teach Mandarin and had already talked about it, but during the conversation, I found myself interested in the world of psychology, so in the end, I took a Bachelor's in Psychology," said the 35-year-old artist.
Sarwendah also stated that this interest has been there for a long time. She wants to understand human character more deeply and feels that many people need a friend to share their stories with.
"I've always wanted to, I feel like there are many people who actually need someone to talk to, so I'm interested in the psychology major," concluded Sarwendah.
