"At first, in March, I went for Umrah, and while I was there, at the Ka'bah, I prayed, 'Oh Allah, I want to wear hijab before I turn 40," Paula expressed.

Paula also explained that this desire had actually been there since 2019 but faced many obstacles.

"So I really wanted to. I actually wanted to wear hijab since 2019. But I kept hesitating. You know, there were work commitments, and then I wasn’t ready, it was hot, uncomfortable, deafening, all sorts of things like that."

She also prayed that she wanted to be steadfast and be assured when she had the intention to wear hijab.

"Suddenly there was a moment when some of our young friends passed away unexpectedly. So I suddenly became afraid of dying, it was such a strange feeling. Really," said Paula.

"For example, one of them is Stevie (Agnecya), right? That was a sudden death. Then some of our friends..." Paula revealed.
