Mahalini & Rizky Febian Finally Have a Legitimate Marriage Certificate, After Officially Remarrying

Now they have a marriage certificate as legitimate proof both religiously and legally. The Head of the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) Setia Budi, South Jakarta, H. Nasrullah, confirmed this when met at his office on Friday (3/1/2025).

"Yes, it is proof that they are officially married both legally and religiously with the issuance of the marriage certificate," said H. Nasrullah.

This remarriage was also attended by several parties, including representatives from the families and management of the couple. The marriage ceremony proceeded smoothly, with witnesses who met the requirements.

1. The Remarriage is Held with Many Representatives

"There are representatives from the family, I have never met the father. So there are representatives from the family, then maybe there are also from the management, and the witnesses also legalize everything, so indeed there are no obstacles, no problems," he explained.

However, this remarriage faces a unique situation because Mahalini's father is a non-Muslim. In this case, the judge's guardian acts as the marriage guardian, in accordance with Islamic legal provisions in Indonesia.

"As I explained earlier, the guardian is the judge's guardian, the head of KUA, and I myself am the guardian like a guardian," revealed H. Nasrullah.

2. Does Not Want to Comment on Mahalini's Pregnancy Status

When asked about speculation regarding Mahalini's pregnancy status before the remarriage, H. Nasrullah chose not to provide further comments. He emphasized that this matter is outside the authority of KUA.

"I don’t know about that, I have never checked together," he said briefly.

H. Nasrullah added that the duty of KUA is to ensure that all marriage documents are complete and meet legal requirements before the marriage ceremony takes place.

3. Urge That Such Incidents Do Not Happen Again

"That is each person's personal matter. The duty of the KUA is when the community registers, they must fulfill all the requirements, our obligation is to marry," he said.

At the end of the interview, H. Nasrullah conveyed a message to the public to prevent similar incidents from recurring. He urged couples who wish to marry to register at the KUA and complete all the necessary requirements.

"Yes, please for the community if you want to marry, register directly at the KUA, then fulfill the requirements, and after that, if you indeed register at the KUA, then insya Allah your marriage will be legally recognized by the state, and also valid according to religion," he stated.
