Celine explains that the film is an old project whose shooting process was completed long before she decided to wear a hijab. She is fully aware that her appearance in the film will be different from her current image.
"The film in November is going to be released, and the shooting was done a long time ago, so it was before I wore a hijab, and yes, it is indeed a responsibility that must be completed thoroughly," Celine Evangelista explained when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (10/8/2025).
She emphasized that the decision to still release the film is not solely her own decision. According to her, there are many parties involved in a film production, and she must respect the commitments and hard work of the entire team involved.
"Yes, because in one film, in one production, there are many people involved, not just me," she said.

Celine realized that this is the consequence of her career journey in the past. Therefore, she can only plead for forgiveness from God and apologize to the public if her appearance in the film raises questions.
"So it's not just me who can make decisions, but there are many people involved, and we plead for forgiveness, seek God's pleasure, ask for God's forgiveness, and apologize to all of humanity. Yes, may our path be made easier," said Celine.
Now, she can only strive to be more selective in choosing her future work so that it aligns with her new principles. She hopes that this step can be blessed and bring goodness.
"Striving to be selective, choosing jobs now and in the future so that they are better, more religious, and more blessed like that," she concluded.
