Kapanlagi.com - Renaga Tahier, the main actor in the soap opera Lorong Waktu 7, revealed the challenges he faced while portraying Alvin, a confident and playboy rich kid character. One of the things he had to do was cover the tattoos on his body during the shooting process.
"In Lorong Waktu, tattoos are covered. That's why the character is different too," said Renaga when met in the Pondok Kelapa area, East Jakarta, on Tuesday (1/7/2025).
The process of covering tattoos turned out to be not always comfortable for Renaga. He revealed that the materials used to cover the tattoos caused his skin to become irritated, especially since his skin is quite sensitive.
"If you ask whether it's comfortable or not, when it's closed, it's actually hot. He uses powder that Aga doesn't understand, it's just hot and Aga's skin is sensitive, that's what makes Aga's skin irritated," he explained.
Despite facing discomfort, Renaga continues to undergo this process with high professionalism.
He considers the demands of the job as part of his commitment to the entertainment industry.
"So that's what makes it uncomfortable, but over time, it's just fine, because of the job demands, we have to be professional," said Renaga.
When asked about following Lorong Waktu since childhood, Renaga admitted that he had come to know the soap opera, although he did not watch it regularly.
He realizes that Lorong Waktu is a legendary work that has been popular for a long time.
"Maybe when I was little, yes, because Lorong Waktu was directed when I was in junior high, especially since I just intended to make it, I only knew about it, I had watched it once," he said.
