Her husband, Tarra Budiman, managed to give a surprise that successfully made his wife shed happy tears. Who would have thought, behind that emotional reaction, the gift given was actually very simple.
On one occasion, Tarra shared the sweet moment. He admitted he did not expect that the gift he prepared would receive such a deep response from Gya.
It turns out, the gift was a new phone, something that had long been on Gya's wishlist, but she always postponed buying it.
"Her wishlist is simple, she just wanted a new handphone. A wishlist that simple," said Tarra Budiman when met in the Pondok Bambu area, East Jakarta, Sunday (5/4/2026).

According to Tarra, his wife is someone who is not consumptive and prioritizes family needs and traveling. Every time she is offered to buy a new phone, Gya always refuses, arguing that her old phone is still good.
Seeing this, Tarra secretly fulfilled his wife's long-held desire. The moment Gya opened the gift was very emotional.
"As soon as she opened it, she was shocked. Then she was like saying, 'Oh no, don't.' 'What do you mean don't, just open it first.' When she was opening it, she actually cried," reminisced Tarra.

Seeing his wife's tears of joy, Tarra felt that the moment was far more valuable than the material value of the gift itself.
"At that moment, I felt like, Oh God, I mean if it's a thing, I gave something that has a price. For me, that can still be bought, but what can't be bought is her happiness, which feels priceless to me," he said.
The surprises didn't stop there. Tarra also arranged a series of events, starting from a lunch with family to a surprise dinner attended by their closest friends.
"It's not about material things, it's not about what it is, the togetherness with whom is the most important," he concluded.
Tarra Budiman and Gya Sadiqah have known each other for quite a long time because they are in the same circle of friends. Their first meeting happened in Bali, marking the beginning of their story.
After Tarra broke up, he saw Gya on Snapchat while she was in London and looked for a way to get closer. Tarra used the excuse of leaving a camera in London to intensify their communication.
Gya was initially hesitant to introduce Tarra to her family, but it turned out that her family liked Tarra. After dating for six to seven months, Tarra proposed to Gya because he was sure she was his soulmate.
The couple officially married on Saturday, April 22, 2017, in Bandung, West Java. The ijab kabul ceremony went smoothly, marking a new chapter in their lives.
