Jessica Iskandar just shared a happy moment while accompanying her eldest son at the very sacred elementary school graduation event. El Barack Alexander celebrated his graduation with friends from three different branches of the school at the same location.

"Indeed, El Barack's school has three branches, and all three graduated at the Sampoerna building. After that, all the parents were invited to see their children, this is the one who moved the graduation cap, and then received the report card and elementary school diploma," said Jessica Iskandar when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, Tuesday (26/5/2026). Vincent Verhaag's wife shares that their child is very active in participating in various prestigious competitions at school. Jedar feels very proud because El has a great courage to test his abilities in many academic fields.

"Yes, usually he participates in competitions. Even though he hasn't won yet, I'm already happy just that he wants to participate, just wanting to join the competition makes me happy," she said.

The artist, born on January 29, 1988, mentioned that El Barack has a very strong interest in science. In addition, their son is also often involved in sports championships to hone his physical abilities outside the classroom.

"He also participates in sports championships, science competitions, and math; he is the best at it, so he often joins those competitions," she revealed.

Although having a very tight school schedule until the afternoon, this 12-year-old child rarely plays outside. Jessica mentioned that El Barack's social interactions are still very well maintained due to his schedule being always full of positive activities.

"Because school ends very late, already at 4 PM. After that, school activities can last until 5 PM. And even if he goes out with friends, it’s very rare, it can be counted on one hand," she said.

In monitoring her child's academic progress, Jedar often shares the responsibility with her husband to check the daily reports. Vincent Verhaag usually receives notifications first if there are school assignments that have not been completed by their son.

"Usually, the emails go to Dad's email, then Dad tells me, 'El Barack hasn't done his homework for a week,' like that. Most of the time I'm like, 'El, you haven't done your homework, go do your homework, come on,' like that," he said.
