Maximally Handsome, El Rumi Wears a Premium Wool Suit from Italy on His Wedding Day with Syifa Hadju

Happy news comes from El Rumi and Syifa Hadju who officially held their wedding ceremony today at the Raffles Hotel, South Jakarta, Sunday (26/4/2026). On this special day, both brides looked enchanting with a radiant bridal aura.

Jonathan Wongso, the renowned suit designer trusted by El Rumi, revealed that the preparation for the groom's outfit had been done well in advance. El is said to have fully entrusted the details of his attire to the designer to achieve the best results on his special day.

"From El and Syifa, they always trust us, so El believes that you can definitely give the best. Indeed, El also has his own concept, he wants it like this, the family wants it like that, but for the execution this time, the concept will be international," said Jonathan Wongso when met at the Raffles Hotel, South Jakarta, Sunday
(26/04/2026).

"So it's less sacred than the traditional style, it will be more international, and the atmosphere will be bright. Just wait and see, there will definitely be photos shared later," he added.

For the suit material worn by El Rumi, Jonathan did not take the selection of fabric lightly. He used high-quality fabric imported directly from abroad to ensure El feels comfortable throughout the series of events.

"It has to be premium for El. So it will definitely use premium wool from Italy, which is comfortable and looks good, you can see later. Because for suits, the best materials usually come from Italy, they are the most comfortable to wear, so wearing it all day is comfortable. It allows for good movement, and it looks better," said Jonathan.

The process of making this suit turned out to take quite a long time. Since last year, El Rumi's extended family has been in intensive communication with the designer to determine the right design for all male family members.

"The preparation took quite a long time, actually, El and the family have been in contact with me since last year, so the preparation has been quite long. Everything (was made). Everything. The boys, the boys, yes. I happen to only make suits for boys, so yes, Mas Dhani, Syifa's father, El, Dul, and the others," he explained.

In addition to premium materials, the choice of colors also became a main highlight in this wedding. El Rumi requested that his suit color match with other family members to create a harmonious look when photographed together.

"There must be a special meaning because there are specific details that El requested, especially for the family. So El wants the color scheme with his family to not be too contrasting; sometimes there are people who have the groom wearing a color that is very different from his family, but El wants it to be uniform, so the colors are more harmonious. Later, you can see that the colors between El and the family are quite harmonious," he said.

Jonathan Wongso added that the final concept of this outfit is the result of discussions among a large team, including stylists and event conceptors. Although he was reluctant to disclose the exact number of suits used, he assured that El will change outfits several times.

"This concept was definitely thought out together, so it's not just El or just me, there is a team, there are stylists, there are conceptors, so this is the result of a joint discussion. The concept is definitely elegant, so you will see later, I can't reveal anything before the event. El will wear several suits in this wedding ceremony, but I can't reveal the colors or designs yet, just wait for it," he concluded.
