The details of the bridal outfit of Syifa Hadju in her wedding to El Rumi caught the public's attention. Designer Vera Anggraini used a combination of luxurious materials to create a unique texture on the white kebaya worn by Syifa.
Vera explained that she used four different types of materials for the dress. One of the most striking features is the use of 3D accents combined with synthetic leather material.
"The materials are from lace, lace mixed with tulle, and for the details, I added 3D material but there is also leather; the synthetic leather is used for accents, giving it a different character from before," said Vera Anggraini when met at the Raffles Hotel, South Jakarta, Sunday (26/04/2026).
The material used in the making of this kebaya is sourced from abroad. Vera ensures that the quality of the material is well maintained to support Syifa's appearance.
Although using high-quality materials and a complicated production process, Vera is reluctant to disclose the amount spent by Syifa. According to her, the issue of price is an internal secret between herself and the client.
"Yes, that's right. The material is from abroad. The store said it's from overseas. No, there’s no number. Because I usually just do it by request with friends. So that's internal," she said.
Vera also added that Syifa did not demand much during the fabric selection process. The actress fully trusts the designer's artistic taste to deliver the best results on her special day.
"The difference is that I have to bring out her character because she is elegant, right? There is glamour, but she is more of a simple person," she said.
"Indeed, from the start, the request wasn't too much. So when we chose the fabric, she said, 'I just want it to be soft and nice for Ms. Vera,'" she concluded.
