Wearing the crown of Miss Indonesia 2025 is not just about beauty and luxurious gowns for Firsta Yufi. For this 24-year-old woman, the title is a significant mandate to be a cultural diplomat for her homeland on the world stage.

Met during the press conference of Lippo Mal Kemang's 13th Anniversary in Kemang, South Jakarta, on Friday (26/9/2025), Firsta candidly discussed the true meaning behind the title she bears. She emphasized that there is a great responsibility awaiting her.

"Puteri Indonesia means not just a title, but also a responsibility. A Puteri Indonesia must be able to introduce this nation to the world with all its beauty, diversity, and achievements," said Firsta.

More than just walking gracefully on stage, Firsta carries a deeper mission. For her, every international beauty pageant is a showcase to display Indonesia's wealth, from culture, values, to proud local products.

"We are not just speaking or walking on stage. We carry a mission. As women, we must have empathy, we must use those values to convey messages to the world," she continued.

Not playing around, Firsta has a unique way of carrying out her diplomatic mission. She does not hesitate to bring authentic Indonesian products, ranging from traditional snacks to beauty products from her own brand, to be introduced to contestants from other countries.

"At Miss Supernational 2025, I managed to bring traditional Indonesian food like pangpang and several other products. I also brought beauty products from my own brand. Starting from makeup, oils, body serum, body lotion, everything is truly made in Indonesia," said Firsta.

According to her, this method is very effective in building Indonesia's image as a creative nation with quality products that can compete globally. There is an invaluable sense of pride when homegrown products receive appreciation abroad.

"When we showcase our products, people from abroad become aware that this is made in Indonesia. That is a pride of its own," he said.

The spirit that Firsta carries aligns with the theme 'Equal Works' raised in the Journey in Elysium Fashion Run event that she attended. The event featured an inclusive collaboration between designers and students with special needs, proving that art is a space for everyone.
