Moderate Dependency and Decided to Undergo Rehabilitation, Iyut Bing Slamet: I Want to Get Better

Kapanlagi.com - The latest development comes from the case of illegal drugs involving former child singer Iyut Bing Slamet. Based on the assessment results from the National Narcotics Agency of Jakarta (BNNK), Iyut has been decided to undergo rehabilitation process.

However, it is not yet known where the person whose birth name is Ratna Fairuz Albar will be rehabilitated. The South Jakarta Metro Police will further coordinate for his placement.

"Iyut is categorized as having moderate addiction, so the recommendation from the assessment is that he needs to undergo rehabilitation for a maximum of three months. Whether he needs to be rehabilitated at RSKO or Lido, it has not been decided yet," said Dikdik Kusnadi, the Head of BNNK, when met at the South Jakarta Metro Police on Tuesday (8/12/2020).

When released last Saturday (5/12/2020), Iyut Bing Slamet still appeared shocked, but this time his condition has calmed down. He was willing to give a statement to the media.

"I apologize to my family, my siblings, and my parents, as well as those who are no longer here. I deeply regret this, because this is not the first time for me. I'm not lying, this is the second time," said Iyut on the same occasion.

2. Iyut Wants to Recover

Iyut Bing Slamet admitted that he went down the wrong path because he ended up getting involved with illegal drugs. He regrets it and wants to truly be free from the influence of drugs.

"I'm not lying, I am a user, I have gone down the wrong path. At first, it felt good, but without realizing it, it affected our nerves and I really regret it now. I want to recover and advise others to avoid drugs," said the 52-year-old woman.
