Sarwendah accompanied by her legal team held a press conference on Wednesday afternoon (15/5/2024). On that occasion, she issued an open summons to five TikTok accounts that have produced content that tarnishes her dignity as a mother and wife.
As known, for the past few years, the public has often discussed Wendah's closeness with Betrand Peto which is considered inappropriate. Therefore, Ruben Onsu's wife took decisive steps to prevent any further slander.
After reading the open summons, Sarwendah and her legal team held a question and answer session. Initially, the questions were still about Wendah's efforts to stop the slander.
Sarwendah said that she took decisive action because she didn't want her children's mental well-being to be disturbed. Moreover, they can already read, so she is afraid that they will consume negative news.
However, when the questions shifted to the news about the cracks in the marriage with Ruben Onsu that led to the emergence of negative framing, Sarwendah seemed reluctant to answer.
Suddenly, Sarwendah asked for permission first, stating that she had to pick up her child from school. "Sorry, friends, you can continue this (with the lawyer) because my child has called and asked to be picked up," said Wendah in the Kedoya area, West Jakarta.
Immediately, Sarwendah stood up and moved out of the press conference room. This certainly caught the attention of the media crew.
Unfortunately, when chased for comments, Sarwendah decided not to answer anything. She chose to walk towards her car.
Meanwhile, Chris Sam Siwu as Sarwendah's legal representative feels that he is not entitled to comment on the media's questions. He asked for it to be directly asked to Ruben Onsu.
Because during Sarwendah's legal representation, he never heard his client speak badly about Ruben Onsu. Indicating that the husband and wife relationship is fine.
