The sorrow of losing a beloved child did not make Sri Yulianti forget to convey an important message to the friends of the late Gustiwiw. Sri represents her son to apologize to anyone who may have been hurt, especially fellow artists and media personnel.
Sri Yulianti appeared strong even though her tears occasionally fell as she remembered her child. In her statement, she admitted feeling the need to convey the last message from a mother who still wants to preserve her child's good name.
"Thank you, friends in the media, for your condolences, your solidarity. I especially want to apologize on behalf of Gusti if in his nature, his jokes, perhaps without him realizing it, there were things that hurt all of you, fellow artists, other artists, and journalists, please forgive Gusti," she said after the funeral at TPU Jati Sari, Bekasi, West Java, Sunday (15/6/2025).
