Nadiem Makarim Changes Final Exam Assessment System, Actress Yoriko Angeline Delighted - Focus on Entering Dream University

Kapanlagi.com - The corona virus or covid-19 outbreak has impacted all aspects, including the education system. Recently, Nadiem Makarim, the Minister of Education and Culture, implemented a new policy regarding the format of the Final Exam (UN).

Nadiem did not eliminate it as many people have been discussing. Instead, he replaced it with a new system called competency assessment and character survey.

1. Focus on Entering Higher Education

The quick decision made by the Minister of Education and Culture was positively responded to by actress Yoriko Angeline. As a third grade high school student, this makes it easier to enter the desired university.

"Honestly, I am happy with this decision. Especially now that the UN score is not used as a reference for entering higher education. So, without the UN, I can focus more on entering the university that I want to pursue," said Yoriko when contacted by phone.

2. Feeling Pointless Studying for Three Years?

The new assessment system as a replacement for the National Examination (UN) is responded calmly by Yoriko Angeline, who attends Global Sevilla International School. She doesn't feel that her three years of studying have been in vain.

"(Without UN) in my opinion, it's not pointless because the knowledge gained adds to my understanding and I enjoy learning. Whether UN exists or not, I am ready or not, because I feel that I have studied to the maximum," concluded the cast of the film DILAN 1990.
