Nagita Slavina Reveals Effective Way to Handle a Child with GTM, Frying Crackers at Home

Kapanlagi.com - Like many other mothers, Nagita Slavina often faces moments when her children experience GTM (Mouth Closure Movement). The wife of Raffi Ahmad has an effective way to ensure her child continues to eat.

"When my child is experiencing GTM, I usually give them crackers, and they go silent. So, for a long time, whenever it comes to crackers, I try to fry them myself at home as much as possible," Nagita revealed at the FILMA Cooking Oil event in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Thursday (10/10/2024).

Nagita, who is affectionately called Gigi, also admitted that she trusts the food she makes herself at home more. According to her, by cooking herself, she can ensure the quality of the ingredients used.

"When I cook at home, I already know how to fry it, what oil to use. If I buy outside, we don’t know the quality of the oil, right? So, it reduces the risks that we can avoid at home," she explained.

Nagita compared herself to a detective who always seeks information for the health of the family.

"As a mother, we must be detectives for our husbands and children. How can we not find out how to choose good oil? Googling can be done for other things, so why not for family health? Therefore, we still need to know the risks," she concluded.
