"It is not allowed. Removing the hijab is a mistake, it is a sin, all scholars have agreed," said Ustaz Derry when met in the Kapten Tendean area, South Jakarta, Monday (17/7/2023).

Although what Nathalie Holscher did was a mistake, Ustaz Derry Sulaiman asked netizens not to give insults. Because Nathalie is currently in a weak faith condition.

"To netizens, I give a little advice. When there is someone with weak faith, having problems, falling down, don't laugh at them, just pray for them. Yes, it is a sin that is visible to us, but how many sins of ours does Allah cover? We are all sinners," said Ustaz Derry.

Nathalie Holscher wore a hijab because of Sule. According to Ustaz Derry Sulaiman, what Sule did was to spread religious teachings by inviting Nathalie to convert. When Nathalie now removes it, it is not the fault of the comedian.

"When she removes the hijab, it's normal because her faith is weak. It has nothing to do with the marriage with Kang Sule. Kang Sule is spreading religious teachings. It's just that his religious teachings need to be strengthened by correcting intentions. I remind friends, if you wear a hijab, wear it for Allah, straighten your intentions before and after," he added.
