Working as a blacksmith is certainly not easy, but Firman never gives up. Even though he has to work in the cold of midnight, he remains enthusiastic even when the temperature drops to 13 degrees.
Since moving to Canada, Firman stated that he is willing to do any job as long as it is halal. Working as a blacksmith is actually very tough, but he can endure and handle it well.
When some of his friends quit the job because they couldn't handle the toughness of the work, Firman remained enthusiastic. He has also become close with his new friends in Canada.
Being a minority does not discourage Firman. He is able to blend in well with his friends at his new workplace.
Once a famous artist and well-established in Indonesia, Firman did not become arrogant when moving to Canada. He remained humble and lived simply in his new country.
For the future of his children, Firman gave up everything he had in Indonesia and started a new life in Canada. Cindy Fatikasari fully supports her husband's work there.
