Never Stop Donating, Shahrukh Khan Donates 25 Thousand PPEs for Medical Workers in Maharashtra

Kapanlagi.com - Shahrukh Khan does not stop his donations to fight covid-19 in India. After donating funds through a foundation for the three largest cities most affected by the corona virus in his country, SRK is back to providing assistance.

This time he donated 25 thousand PPEs to the local government of Maharashtra. The donation is specifically dedicated to the medical teams on the front lines of covid-19 handling.

As reported by Pinkvilla.com, the donation from this father of three has been received by the local Health Department. Maharashtra Regional Health Minister, Rajesh Tope, also expressed his gratitude to SRK through a Twitter post, which was later quoted by the star of the film ZERO.

Rajesh Tope extends a heartfelt thank you to SRK for the much-needed assistance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the medical team. With PPE, the transmission of the virus from patients to healthcare workers can be minimized.

With a significant quantity, the stock of PPE for the Maharashtra region is considered sufficient for some time to come. All healthcare facilities need not worry about shortages, as they will be supplied through SRK's donation.

2. SRK Responds with Gratitude

Shahrukh Khan also expresses gratitude to the minister for helping him find sources to obtain PPE. Currently, it is quite challenging to find PPE production facilities due to high demand.

"Thank you, sir, for your assistance in sourcing PPE. Let's all together take care of ourselves and each other during this crisis. Glad to be of help. May your family and all the teams always stay safe and healthy," responded Shahrukh Khan.

3. Convert Building into Quarantine Center

Before donating PPE, Shahrukh Khan has converted the building that has been his private office into a quarantine center. He specifically designates the building as a quarantine center for women, parents, and children.

Not everyone in India has a suitable home for self-quarantine. Therefore, Shahrukh and his wife have transformed their building into a decent living place, complete with all necessities. The community can use it for free during the lockdown in India.
