Indah Dewi Pertiwi Distributes Food Aid and Masks to Those in Need

IDP admitted to distributing hundreds of packages consisting of rice, sugar, and other basic necessities. Not forgetting, she also distributed hand sanitizers and masks. She also mentioned that the distribution of aid was assisted by online motorcycle taxis.

"Many people are staying at home and unable to work. So, we provide them with food ingredients so that they can cook at home. I also hope that our sustenance will be smooth even in this situation. Because now is the time for us to help each other and share," said IDP when contacted by phone on Sunday (4/5).

IDP admits not being overwhelmed in carrying out this noble activity. This is because he utilizes online motorcycle taxis to distribute his aid packages.

"We asked for help from online motorcycle taxis. Because they are also capable of reaching people in need," IDP continued.

IDP also hopes that by utilizing online motorcycle taxis, they can still earn a living. Considering how difficult it is to find orders amid this corona outbreak.

2. Activities at Home

When asked about the latest news, IDP admitted to spending a lot of time at home. He utilizes his time by listening to religious studies and checking materials that will be used for his sharia-compliant business, Tajmil by IDP.

"At home, my activities are pretty standard. Wake up, shower, eat. Because I am currently studying religion, I watch religious studies. Alhamdulillah, there are many online religious studies now. Occasionally, I also quality check Tajmil clothes or just look at the materials," he said.

3. Impact of Corona

It cannot be denied that IDP also experiences material losses. Especially since this business is still relatively unpopular amid the corona outbreak. Not only that, many other jobs have also been canceled.

"The impact on myself, because I just released the IDP Tajmil brand right in February, and then in March we had this thing called social distancing, so it had quite an impact. The canceled jobs were already two weeks ago. Several events that were originally scheduled for April and March have been closed," said IDP.

Although IDP has suffered losses due to the corona pandemic, he does not want to complain much. In every prayer, he hopes that this situation will end soon.

Moreover, Muslims will soon enter the month of Ramadan. IDP hopes that this outbreak will end before the holy month arrives.
