New Two Years Pursue Running Sports, Vinessa Inez Already Has Four Marathon Medals

Kapanlagi.com - Artist Vinessa Inez has been pursuing running sports for the past two years. A year later, the 26-year-old woman finally tried participating in a marathon race.

"I've been running for two years, but I only started joining events since July 2023," she said when met in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Sunday (22/10/2023).

"Starting from the one in Bandung, I got addicted," added the owner of the full name Vinessa Ladiatry Lileka.

Vinessa Inez admitted that initially she was just trying out participating in a 10-kilometer running race. Eventually, Vinessa Inez ended up enjoying it.

"At first, in Bandung, it was cold. I tried running, my friend suggested starting with a short distance of 5 km. But there was none, only 10 km. So I tried it. Turns out it's fun. It feels like my mind is fresher, my body is fitter, I have new running friends and closer," said Vinessa Inez.

2. Receive Several Medals

Although only participating in running competitions for a few months, Vinessa Inez has already won several medals. In fact, she is increasingly fond of running sports because of the many positive things she has gained.

"This is the fourth (medal) I've received," Vinessa Inez firmly stated.

"Since two weeks ago when I started participating, it feels more lively and I'm just happy all the time. I felt exhausted at 3 KM. Then at 6 KM, I started feeling tired, but being encouraged by other runners made me very happy," she concluded.
