The struggle of Nikita Mirzani for justice continues. After officially filing an appeal against the 4-year prison sentence imposed on her, her legal team is now showing very high optimism. They are even confident that Nikita can be acquitted at the high court level.

Nikita Mirzani's lawyer, Galih Siwi, confirmed that her appeal documents were submitted on November 3, 2025. Now, they have seven days to submit the appeal memorandum electronically.

Despite being aware that the appeal process carries the risk of a decision that could be lighter or even heavier, Nikita is not intimidated at all.

"We are confident in this case and we are serious about pursuing legal action," said Galih Siwi when met at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (5/11/2025).

This confidence is based on the evidence and witnesses they have, which they previously claimed were ignored by the judges at the first level. The legal team is optimistic that at the appellate level, justice will be on the side of the mother of three children.

"The issue could become more (serious) or, for example, be upheld; there is also the possibility in the appeal that it could result in acquittal or a reduced sentence. But we will, we are very confident that in principle we will pursue the appeal and hopefully continue to seek justice, insyaallah acquitted," Galih continued.

Similar optimism was also expressed by senior attorney, Fahmi Bachmid, who accompanied her. "God willing, she will be free. Just pray for us. We are confident, God willing, she will be free," Fahmi added.

As is known, Nikita Mirzani was convicted of violating the ITE Law and sentenced to prison. This case began from allegations of extortion involving the name Ismail Bolong, but the charges were not proven in court.

Now, with an unquenchable spirit, Nikita Mirzani and her team will continue their legal battle in the High Court, hoping to turn the situation around and achieve freedom.
