No History of Serious Illness, Harvey Malaihollo's Mother - Nenek Mikha Tambayong Died After Suffering a Heart Attack

Kapanlagi.com - Sad news came from the family of musician Harvey Malaihollo. His mother, Maudy Malaihollo-Titaley, passed away on Friday afternoon (25/3/2022) at around 18.55 WIB.

Harvey revealed that his mother had no history of any illnesses. However, on Friday morning, she complained of chest tightness and was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.

"My mother never had a history of serious illness. Yesterday morning, she complained of chest tightness, and my younger sibling who accompanied her 24 hours a day suggested that she be taken to the hospital. She had a fairly massive heart attack and was immediately treated because there was a blockage on the right side of her heart. Two stents were installed, and the procedure was successful," said Harvey, who was met at the funeral home in Tebet Barat, South Jakarta, on Saturday (26/3/2022).

1. Stable Condition After Stent Installation

Maudy Malaihollo-Titaley's condition, as revealed by Harvey Malaihollo, was initially stable. However, two hours after lunch, the condition of the Titaley Sisters vocal group member deteriorated.

"She was already stable and planned to be placed in the ICU for two nights. After eating, she took some photos, but two hours later, her condition worsened. The medical team began efforts to stabilize her condition," said Harvey.

2. Sincerely Letting Go of Mother

When Harvey Malaihollo's mother was in a critical condition, he and his family discussed it. They agreed that if she couldn't be saved, they would let her go sincerely. Rather than seeing their mother suffer with medical assistance.

"When our mother was in a critical condition, my siblings, wife, and family gathered together to surrender everything to God. And we told the doctors that if it was time, don't force it. We don't want our mother to live on a machine. So, please, if you've done everything you can, just leave it to God. We were ready and, in the end, our beloved mother passed away at 6:55 PM," Harvey explained.

3. Not Seeing Mother Suffering

Harvey Malaihollo found it very difficult to let go of the departure of Maudy Malaihollo-Titaley forever. However, on the other hand, he and the entire family are grateful to see their mother not having to suffer.

"We as a family are very sad, very lost, because our mother suddenly left without a history of illness that would have required her to go in and out of the hospital. But we see the good side, God is so good that we did not see her suffer, suffer from prolonged illness. She was a good person, many sent flowers to express their condolences. And we, representing the large Malaihollo-Titaley family, express our gratitude for your prayers and attention," said Harvey.
