After leaving the corporate world, the members of Perunggu are now enjoying life as full-time musicians. Although they no longer receive a monthly salary, they feel they have full control over the career path they are taking.

Maul said that currently, Perunggu is managed like a company of their own, so all the results of their work can be enjoyed together.

"Now we are like our own company. Whatever results we get are for ourselves. So we have more control," said Maul when met in the Fatmawati area, South Jakarta, recently.

Maul admits that the work system they are currently following is very different from when they were still employees. The income they receive depends entirely on their efforts and productivity."In the past, we were guaranteed a monthly salary. Now it depends on our hard work, how much we work," he explained.

For Maul, fortune is not always in the form of material things. The opportunity to maintain health, have more time with family, and meet new people are also part of the happiness they feel.

"The conversion of our fortune is not just money or material. We are still healthy, can gather with family, and can connect with many new people. That is also a blessing for us," he said.

In response to netizens' comments lamenting their corporate careers being left behind for music, Maul chose to stay relaxed. According to him, everyone has different phases in life.

"That's a phase in life. Coincidentally, we are here right now. But no one knows, maybe in five years people will say, 'last year they were still musicians, now they are back in the office?' Anything can happen," he concluded.
