Qualified for the Next Round, Ari DA8 Ready to Give His Best for Sampang

Dangdut Academy 8 has entered the top 42 elimination round. Joining coach Selfi Yamma's team, Ari and Cendi were the first performers on the opening night of the top 42 round. Their performance successfully shook the Dangdut Academy stage and received a standing ovation from the judges.

After duetting with Cendi, Ari gave a solo performance singing the song Kerudung Putih and received a complete standing ovation from the three judges. His performance managed to amaze the judges that night.

Ari stated that his preparation for last night's performance was only done in one day, considering he was part of the group that performed first in the top 42 round. However, he is confident that his preparation was sufficient despite being only for a day.

"Thank God, it feels good to perform in group 1. (Preparation) Thank God, it's more than enough," he said when met at the Emtek Indosiar Studio, Wednesday, (15/7/2026).

His efforts paid off, Ari became the first participant to secure a position in the next round. His success is also attributed to the presence of his mentor, Selfi Yamma. After being declared part of Selfi Yamma's team, Ari admitted he was very happy. He shared that he had always wanted to meet and take a photo with Selfi, and finally, his wish came true as he became a student of his idol.

Ari admitted that Selfi is an amazing mentor. According to him, Selfi guides very well, is friendly and also polite. "Sister Selfi is really nice, friendly, and polite. I hope Sister Selfi stays healthy, and is very patient in teaching her students," he said.

Facing increasingly tight competition, Ari stated that he is ready to always deliver the best performance, especially for the people of Sampang, Madura.

"I hope tonight I can deliver the best for the people of Madura, especially the people of Sampang. I will continue to practice and practice for the next stage and later be able to deliver the best again," he said.
