The controversy over the lyrics of the song 'Gapapa' that were changed by Icha Chellow and Mala Agatha continues. After Icha and Mala provided clarifications via social media, Anisa Bahar gave her response.
Through a post on her personal Instagram account on Tuesday, (14/7), the original singer of the song Gapapa expressed her frustration regarding the clarifications made by Icha and Mala. Anisa referred to the singer from East Java as someone who (sorry) has no brain.
Anisa Bahar spoke out after Icha Chellow and Mala Agatha provided clarifications regarding the controversy over the lyrics of the song Gapapa that were changed by the singer from East Java. Through a short video on Instagram, Anisa expressed her frustration towards Icha and others.
Previously, in a short recording on social media, Icha and Mala provided clarification regarding the lyrics they sang on stage. "Assalamualaikum to mom Anisa. Responding to the video that has gone viral recently. Actually, it's not just me and Icha who sang. And why do netizens focus more on Icha and Mala when Zezu also sang?" said Mala and Icha together with DJ Zhuu.
"Well, here we are also just bound by a contract with mom. Actually, we know the consequences will be like this. But if it's done wrong, and if we don't do it, we will be at fault, you know. Because we are bound by a contract with the producer. In our position, we are also confused. So don't blame us, blame the producer too. Yes, why just us? So please guide us, mom," they continued.
After the clarification from both the dangdut singers and the DJ, Anisa gave a firm response. "Yes, they say he was just instructed by his producer, and he doesn't want to be blamed in this matter because they are just talents. But come on, you’re a woman, you should have some sense. Is that right? Just because you were told to do something doesn’t make it okay," said Anisa.
"You also have parents, your mother is a woman, and you have siblings, many of whom are small children, and you have nieces and nephews. Do you think this is a good thing or not? I think you guys really don’t have any sense, right?," she concluded with a bit of annoyance.
