According to Mongol, those moments were a way for them to relieve nervousness and test their material.
"Yes, because when we are on set, honestly one of our entertainments is to joke around. Maybe to cover up stage fright or to revive material, testing the material. So in the waiting room or in the tent, the jokes really make us laugh," said Mongol when met at TPU Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta, Monday (13/7/2026).

Mongol said that one of their favorite materials is making fun of their own shortcomings. According to him, this way makes the jokes feel safer without hurting others.
"The late one, when joking, would talk about our unattractiveness with him and me. For the two of us, that’s our selling point. Because by insulting ourselves, no one gets angry. The most would be mom, transferring 5 million, that's definitely the favorite," said Mongol.
Not only about comedy, Temon also often gives input to Mongol when he started to dive into the acting world. Various simple tips on set are still remembered by him until now.

"So he taught me, 'Ngol, later the camera is over there, you do this later, and don’t talk to this, not to the camera' like that," said Mongol.
Mongol admitted he did not know if Temon had a history of illness. Every time they meet, they more often talk about work and joke rather than discuss health conditions.
"No. Personally, I never knew that, besides, when we meet, we don’t talk about being sick. We talk about how much you get paid. Okay," he concluded.
