Jakarta Concert Orchestra (JCO) proves its success once again by holding the 'An Anime Symphony: Resonance' concert on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at JIEXPO Convention Centre & Theatre, Kemayoran, Jakarta. This concert is the third in a series of anime concerts that have become favorites among fans. After the success of the previous concert in December 2023 and February 2024, JCO once again rocked the stage with two sessions held at 15.30 and 19.00 WIB, with a total attendance of 4,900 spectators.

What is the excitement of nostalgia for anime songs this time?

Conducted by Avip Priatna, along with the Batavia Madrigal Singers, The Resonanz Children Choir (TRCC), and TRCC Serunai, this concert opened with the Indonesian national anthem, performing the popular song Overtaken from the anime One Piece. At the end of the song, Avip Priatna created an unforgettable moment by recreating one of the iconic scenes from One Piece, by giving a straw hat to a young child.

The performers also wore cosplay costumes that changed according to the anime songs being performed, adding excitement and uniqueness to this concert. The audience became more enthusiastic when Alexandra Januarivan, Leo Pramasatya, Melky Adrian, and Mitchell Wuisan sang Bling-Bang-Bang-Born, the opening theme from the anime Mashle: Magic and Muscles, complete with the iconic dance of this anime. The performances of the soloists were equally captivating. Dorothy Averina performed the song Omoide no Kagami from the anime Jeanle with the Light Brown Hair, Elnino Mevlana Ibrahim performed Piano Concerto in B-minor: Allegro Apasionato from Yuri!!! on Ice fantastically, while Farman Purnama performed the song 'Himawari no Yakusuko' from the anime 'Stand by me Doraemon'. Not to be outdone by other solo performances, Stefani Yang mesmerized the audience with her performance of the song 'Gurenge' from the anime 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba', accompanied by the singing and cheering of the audience.
