"We assumed it was cardiac arrest," said Shahnaz after the funeral at TPU Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta, Wednesday (10/2/2024).
Therefore, the family emphasized that Marissa did not die from a heart attack. Moreover, none in her family have a history of heart disease. Â "Cardiac arrest and heart attack are different, you know. We have no history of heart disease," said the 52-year-old woman.
The sudden departure of Marissa certainly brings a unique sorrow to the family left behind. It was evident at the funeral, where hundreds of people came to pay their last respects.
Ikang Fawzi himself appeared to be very devastated by his wife's passing. However, Ikang admitted that he has accepted the departure of the woman he married in 1986.
"I am lucky, oh Allah, I could be your husband, I am fortunate she is a great and strong woman, she worked hard to earn the title of professor, to that point I say my wife is very different," said Ikang Fawzi.
Ikang Fawzi asked for prayers so that his wife's grave may be spacious and that all her sins, whether intentional or not, may be forgiven. "May her deeds be accepted by Allah, may all her sins be forgiven, may her journey be made smooth, oh Allah, thank you very much, thanks," he concluded.
