Verrell Bramasta Asserts He Will Not Take His Salary for One Year After Becoming a Member of the DPR

Although many doubt his abilities due to his background in the entertainment world, Verrell has his own way of proving his seriousness in serving the community.

Verrell asserts that he will not accept his salary as a member of the DPR for the first year. This step is taken as a form of commitment to his constituents.

"This is a gesture from me to show that to prove that artists are not just looking for money, I will give my salary for one year to my constituents, and that is a promise I will uphold," said Verrell Bramasta when met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (1/10/2024).

1. Distributed to His Electoral District

He also added that his salary will be fully allocated to his electoral district in West Java VII. All funds will be presented transparently, so that the public can clearly understand the allocation.

"I will give one year's salary to my constituents. That is a promise that I will also uphold. Everything will be presented transparently, so for one year my salary will be allocated to my electoral district in West Java VII," explained Verrell Bramasta.

2. What About Facilities?

Aside from the salary issue, Verrell also talked about the facilities he receives as a member of the DPR. The son of Venna Melinda revealed that he will use his own vehicle, not state facilities, except in situations where it is truly necessary.

"As for the facilities, Alhamdulillah from my side, the facilities are sufficient, if there are state facilities and I need them, I will use them; if I don't need them, I won't use them," he concluded.
