Marissa Haque Will Be Buried This Afternoon at TPU Tanah Kusir

Kapanlagi.com - The passing of Marissa Haque, a beloved artist and activist, has left a deep sorrow for her family and fans. Marissa took her last breath at 00:43 WIB, and the family is now preparing for the burial, which will take place at TPU Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta, around 15:00 WIB.

Soraya Haque, Marissa's sister, explained that there is currently a discussion regarding the time of the burial. However, the final decision is made by Marissa's husband, Ikang Fawzi.

"The burial is still between whether it will be after ashar or after dzuhur because Ikang (Marissa's husband) wants it to be after ashar so he can be close to his wife, but we suggest after dzuhur, to have the prayer at the mosque near the house and then after that, bury her," she revealed at the mourning house in the Bintaro area, Tanggerang, Wednesday (2/10/2024).

Regarding the presence of family, Soraya ensured that all family members gathered in Jakarta to pay their last respects. "No one is from out of town. Everyone is gathered here," she explained.

Marissa was known as a spirited person. According to Soraya, although there may have been things she didn't get to achieve, essentially all of Marissa's wishes have been fulfilled.

"It seems like all of Icha's wishes during her life have been granted. The matters seem to be settled, but perhaps being human, there are efforts in living life," she said.

When asked if there were any signs before Marissa's passing, Soraya firmly answered, "No. There were absolutely none. No signs at all," she said.
