Dahlia's attorney, Wayan Vajra Fhany Jaya, revealed that his client first came to consult about household issues in mid-2023. Here are the details.

But what I can say is that Ms. Dahlia first met me in 2023, Ms. Dahlia was already living in Bali at that time, we met around mid-year in June-July," said Wayan Vajra in a virtual press conference on Tuesday (12/8/2025).
At that time, Dahlia was introduced to Wayan through one of her former clients and immediately opened up about the problems she was facing. After the consultation session, the mother of three briefly reconsidered her decision and chose to maintain her marriage.
"Then Ms. Dahlia consulted with me because she mentioned there were issues. So Ms. Dahlia got to know me through my former client. As a result of the 2023 consultation, Ms. Dahlia also decided to withdraw the lawsuit and maintain her household," she explained.
However, a year later, specifically in August 2024, Dahlia contacted her attorney again because problems arose once more. Wayan provided several legal options, but once again, Dahlia chose the path of peace after meeting with her family, followed by Fandy.
"Then she contacted me again in August last year, 2024, because there was an issue. I provided legal advice again, I said Ms. Dahlia could take steps A, B, C. Eventually, Ms. Dahlia decided to return to Badung at that time to meet with her family and was eventually followed by Mas Fandy, leading to a reconciliation at that time," he explained.
The peak of Dahlia's distress occurred at the beginning of 2025, when she contacted Wayan again for consultation. "Then, around the beginning of 2025, Ms. Dahlia contacted me again, asking for my opinion, consulting again, and finally in May, we met and Ms. Dahlia decided to file for divorce," he revealed.
This prolonged process indicates that there are complex issues that continue to recur in their household. Wayan emphasized that his client's final decision was made after various efforts and deep considerations.
"So the problem is quite lengthy. There are several issues that arose at the beginning of the marriage, in the middle, and also from the issues of yesterday. I will officially meet with them in 2025 for a consultation," he concluded.
