Not Becoming a Suspect in a Drug Case, Naufal Samudra: I am Already Clean

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Naufal Samudra can breathe a sigh of relief after the police did not designate him as a suspect in a drug case. Naufal, who was apprehended by the police on Friday (7/1), is only considered a witness.

This is because the police did not have any drug evidence during the arrest and Naufal's urine test results were negative.

Therefore, the police released Dinda Kirana's boyfriend and only requested Naufal to undergo rehabilitation at RSKO due to his previous involvement with drug-related issues in 2020.

Regarding his arrest, Naufal expressed his gratitude to the police and firmly stated that he is currently drug-free.

"I would like to express my gratitude to the Jakarta Metro Police for reminding me (about drugs). Indeed, now I am clean," said Naufal Samudra at the Jakarta Metro Police on Saturday, January 8, 2022.

"For the younger generation, please take this as an example and lesson, do not try and touch drugs," he said.

Previously reported, Naufal Samudra was arrested by the police at his parents' residence in Ragunan, South Jakarta on Friday (7/1).

The police action to apprehend Dinda Kirana's boyfriend was based on the development of a drug case involving a suspect named Ridwan.

During the interrogation, Ridwan stated that Naufal had ordered LSD drugs from him.

"Naufal ordered LSD 3 times. But on the last order, the goods were not taken by Naufal," said the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Endra Zulfan.

Naufal Samudra was previously involved in a drug case in 2020 with evidence of synthetic marijuana. As a result, Naufal had to undergo rehabilitation for 10 months.

When arrested on (7/2) yesterday, the police did not find any evidence. The urine test results conducted on Naufal Samudra showed negative signs of drugs.

Therefore, the police did not detain Naufal and chose to take him to a rehabilitation center, namely the Drug Dependence Hospital (RSKO) in Cibubur, East Jakarta.

"Yesterday, during the security operation, the investigators did not find any evidence of LSD. Then the urine test was conducted with negative results," said the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Commissioner Pol. Endra Zulfan during a press conference on Saturday (8/1/2022).

"Because there is no evidence and the urine test is negative, the investigators determined his status as a witness. Today, we will also conduct rehabilitation for him at RSKO in Cibubur, as part of drug prevention education and in response to restorative justice regulations," he added.
