Kapanlagi.com - The list of celebrities who have tested positive for Covid-19 is increasing. This time, Gilang Dirga announced that he has been infected with the coronavirus. In a vlog uploaded on Adiez Gilang's YouTube channel on January 5th, husband of Adiezty Fersa.

Gilang first found out that he was positive for corona on December 20th, 2020. At that time, he immediately went into self-isolation. He was quite surprised to be exposed to Covid-19 because he didn't experience any symptoms.

"Actually, what's strange is that I didn't feel any symptoms at all. Maybe I belong to the category of asymptomatic people. So I can still taste food and smell things properly. But my body condition did deteriorate, maybe because I was exhausted from filming," said Gilang.

1. Positive PCR Swab Results

Gilang Dirga had previously taken a swab test with negative results. However, shortly after that, Gilang received the opposite result. Luckily, his wife and some people in his house tested negative for Covid-19.

"So the chronology is that on December 17th, I took a swab test and thankfully the result was negative. And on Sunday, December 20th, in the morning, I took another antigen swab test at home and I tested positive, my manager tested positive. Adiez and the others tested negative, about 5 people in the house tested negative. To further confirm, we tried the PCR test and the result was positive," explained Gilang.

2. Symptoms Appeared on the Second Day

Although initially not experiencing any symptoms, on the second day of isolation Gilang admitted that he felt several symptoms.

"Today is the second day of isolation, December 21st, I woke up at 12 noon. When I woke up, I still felt unwell, so I immediately ate, took medicine, and some vitamins. From there, I felt like I couldn't smell anything, like I couldn't feel anything," he said.

"Finally, I tried to get close to (my nose) all the food, soap when washing hands. If it's close, I can smell it, if it's far, I can't. Then I asked my manager, he said it's still safe. So it's just me," said the 31-year-old man.

3. Doesn't Last Long

However, Gilang Dirga is grateful that the symptoms did not last long. In the evening, his sense of smell slowly returned to normal.

"Well, earlier around 8 o'clock, I was able to start smelling again. Maybe it disappeared because of a cold, because it was blocked. Even now it's still a bit stuffy. Well, thank God, hopefully it will heal faster, and when I do the swab test again, it will be negative," he concluded.

Make sure KLovers always discipline in implementing health protocols and #RememberMother'sMessage to avoid exposure to Covid-19. Wear a mask, wash your hands regularly with soap, and avoid crowds.
